IEC will now offer optical repairs for CCDs that are still installed in flexible endoscopes.

In an effort to further assist our customers in the service field of endoscopes, IEC will now offer optical repairs for CCDs that are still installed in flexible endoscopes.  The guidelines for these repairs are as follows:

SEE IMAGES FOR VISUAL UNDERSTANDING OF GUIDELINES.

1. For accessibility purposes the camera shall be at least 3-4 inches outside of the distal end of the endoscope.
2. The EC connector should be attached to the hub to avoid damage to any of the electrical components.
3. Once the flexible endoscope is received, it will be inspected and the customer will be contacted with a diagnostic repair quote.
